These two pages from Molly and Sean's wedding album shows the stages of the day before the wedding where all of the finished touches to the wedding reception venue were being made.
Molly and Sean's wedding reception was due to take place in the garden of the family home where a marquee had been erected. The friends and family of the bride and groom had all chipped in to help design and decorate the space. As the bride and bridesmaids were getting ready on site, I was unusually able to get photos of the venue being dressed before the wedding which really added to the story.
The wedding cake arrived, iced semi-nude as is the fashion in 2018. The cake however was to be decorated by the bridesmaids and bridesman. The left page of this spread shows the efforts being made to dress the cake with flowers that had been supplied by the florist. There's a wide angle shot at the top, showing the general scene, with a much more zoomed-in image at the bottom, revealing some of the finer detail.
On the right hand page is an artistic black and white image showing the brides-man trimming the head of some flowers with secateurs.
