Charlotte and Andy had a really wonderful wedding day - the entire story of which can be seen throughout this wedding album.
One of the things I do best when it comes to wedding photography is candid reportage, or 'documentary wedding photography.' An example of this can be seen here. After the bride and groom, along with the wedding guests had made their way from the church to the reception venue, the drinks reception started proper and the canapés were served. This is the best time to capture candid photos like this of the wedding guests, as their minds are usually on other things - being deep in conversation, catching up with long lost friends, eating food and generally being merry!
In order to capture the best candid photos possible, I tend to shoot with a long telephoto lens and generally keep my distance in order that the guests don't see me - quite often, you can change the nature of the scene that you're trying to photograph merely with your presence (as any parent will understand if they've tried to capture a photo of one of their kids and they start acting completely differently and pull faces! Wedding guests after a few too many glasses of Pimms or Prosecco are no different!)
