Stoke-on-Trent is a lovely city in Staffordshire with a long history as ‘The Potteries,’ the centre of the ceramics industry in England; today you can find stunning historic wedding venues here, as well as one new, contemporary-style barn wedding venue. The motto of Stoke-on-Trent is Vis Unita Fortior which means ‘a united force is stronger’ – not a bad motto to keep for your married life to come!

Park Hall Farm in Leigh, near Tean, Stoke on Trent, is a beautiful grade II listed building which dates back to the 1600s. The entrance to the venue is through a tree-lined avenue, leading to the stately gates mounted on the old bridge over the moat and into the stunning gardens and marquee. The well-established gardens are perfect for your wedding photographer Stoke-on-Trent to get flattering outdoor pictures of you and your wedding party. Licensed to conduct civil ceremonies in the farmhouse, seating up to 36, or the Summerhouse, seating up to 400, this private family-run venue is a great choice for couples looking for a blend of history and modern conveniences.
For a contemporary barn-style wedding venue, you can’t get more picturesque than The Ashes Barns. A private, family-run wedding venue in a gorgeous fifty-acre estate, the Ashes Barns are located at the foothills of the Peak District National Park, within the borders of Staffordshire in the West Midlands. With lush lawns with verdant borders, an idyllic pond and lustrous lake, an apple orchard and bramble hedges and wilder things like wheat fields, bubbling brooks and starlit vistas, youʼll be overwhelmed by the variety of magical backdrops for your wedding photographs at this venue. The Country House lawn offers incredible views across the countryside surrounding the stunning collection of listed stone barns which make up The Ashes Barns.
Licensed for civil ceremonies and comfortably seating up to 150 guests, The West Barn features exposed oak beams, gorgeous stone flagged floor, original mullioned windows, a Juliet Balcony for your musicians and a stunning aisle to walk down. The West Barn is the oldest structure at The Ashes; it’s a 17th century Grade II listed rustic stone barn with plenty of warmth and charm. The East Barn, also a Grade II Listed building, is the place to hold your celebrations after the ceremony - the warm tones of the natural stone, polished oak floor, exposed oak beams and super-cute stable doors make this a relaxed and delightful setting for your first meal as a married couple.
A professional wedding photographer who has been working since 2012 and has photographed more than 250 couples on their big days at a multitude of venues, I am your wedding photographer Stoke-on-Trent. My speciality is documentary or photojournalism-style wedding photographs, which aim to capture every special moment on your big day as it happens; this is the perfect style for you if you’re usually camera-shy or would just prefer that your photographer be as unobtrusive as possible. Of course, I can still help you get all the staged and formal portraits you desire; but I’ll get them done quickly, and with a minimum of stress, so everyone can get back to enjoying your celebrations.
