The other consideration for where you get ready in the morning of your wedding as a bride is the sheer amount of space you might have at home and the quality of the light that's there too. Most wedding venues either have lots of natural light from large windows or skylights, or daylight balanced artificial lights which still look like daylight in photos. Charlotte got ready at home, but the house was large enough to envelop all of her bridesmaids and hair and makeup artists, and the quality of the light was fantastic too. Conservatories usually make a good place for brides to have their make up done as the natural light means you can get the correct colour balance from the wedding makeup. If you apply makeup under artificial light, you might accidentally work to correct a colour cast that's produced by the light and may not necessarily be there under natural lighting conditions.
Conservatories are also usually bright enough that your wedding photos look really good, and all of the colours really stand out in the photos because of this.
