Kidderminster Wedding Photographer
Once part of a grand estate held by William I, Kidderminster is a Worcestershire town with several historically significant wedding venues providing a range of great options for your once-in-a-lifetime wedding day.
Kidderminster Town Hall is an elegant Victorian Grade II listed Music Hall set within the heart of Kidderminster’s conservation area. The Town Hall is a landmark building that has played a central role in the district’s social calendar for over 150 years and has recently undergone extensive refurbishment both inside and out. Feature wedding and reception rooms include the Music Room, where The William Hill Organ creates a stunning backdrop and can be played at your wedding upon request, and The King Charles ll Suite, which has traditional panelled walls, stained glass windows and handcrafted Mouseman furniture.
This suite is the perfect location for an intimate gathering of close family and friends. If you would like something a little more unusual for your ceremony or just for fun photo opportunities later, you can even use the Victorian Court Room with its original furniture and fittings including a dock, a witness stand and a poor box – your wedding photographer Kidderminster is bound to capture some unique shots here!
Brockencote Hall Hotel is a beautifully refurbished Victorian mansion just outside Kidderminster, with a grand approach, French-inspired architecture and stunning features such as a scenic lake and lovingly restored dovecote. Host your ceremony in one of the rooms of the Hall, or for a religious service, the pretty Saint Cassian’s, built in the 11th century, is available for blessings in the neighbouring village of Chaddesley Corbett.
The Hotel can organize a horse and carriage from the church, so you arrive at your Brockencote Hall Hotel reception in style. After your ceremony, gather on the terrace overlooking the glorious Worcestershire countryside, or in the elegant bar and lounge for champagne. Brockencote can also arrange for a dance floor, live music or a DJ to get your reception party started.
For couples who want a lot of options for their wedding day, Hogarths Stone Manor is home to five wedding venues in one. The Drawing Room is a decadent setting for ceremonies and receptions, while the light-filled Garden Room is a large, private space that’s perfect for evening receptions, with a private bar and full-length doors that open out onto the grounds.
The Drey is for people who want the best of both worlds; overlooking a water feature garden, your celebrations here can spill out onto the terrace on a warm summer’s day. For a smaller and more intimate wedding celebration, you and up to 25 guests can tuck yourself away in the luxurious surroundings of the atmospheric Snug. Finally, for an outdoor wedding that still has opulent style, say your vows against the Tudor-style backdrop of the Pump rooms. Nestled beside the orchard, with heated gazebos that make this a perfect venue year round, the picture-perfect patio leading up to the building is a ready-made altar for your ceremony.
