Hinckley Wedding Photographer
A market town in southwest Leicestershire, Hinckley has a history going back to Anglo-Saxon times; by the time of the Domesday Book in 1086, Hinckley was already quite a large village, and grew over the following 200 years into a small but thriving market town—a market was first recorded there in 1311. Unsurprisingly, then, Hinckley also has some great venues for weddings if you’re in the market for a beautiful big day in Leicestershire!
Sketchley Grange is a stunning four-star hotel set on the rural borders of Leicestershire and Warwickshire’s beautiful countryside, making it a perfect choice for a memorable wedding day. For your civil ceremony, the venue has four fantastic function rooms. Whether you’re planning an intimate wedding with just a few close friends and family members or you’re opting for a more lavish celebration, Sketchley Grange has a range of beautiful rooms for you. You can even have an outdoor ceremony in the beautiful garden pagoda within the grounds.
Set just outside of Hinckley within the stunning Leicestershire countryside, the beautiful Badgers Mount Hotel is an ideal venue for a country wedding. With its gorgeous gardens and picturesque surroundings, your wedding photographer Hinckley will find plenty of opportunities to capture fabulous wedding photographs! You can say ‘I do’ in the stunning conservatory and continue your evening’s celebrations there all night long, or you can make the most of the ample grounds and hire a marquee to dance the night away in. There is also the option to enjoy a glass of bubbly and some delicious canapes on the terrace overlooking the pool.
If a church ceremony is what you’re looking for, Hinckley has plenty of options, including Hope Community Church, Holy Trinity, St Francis, St Johns, St Mary’s Parish Church, St Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, and Trinity Lane Christian Church. Perhaps the most beautiful church for photographs is St. Mary’s, with the tower, nave and chancel dating back to 1240 and 1340. There has been a parish church on the site at St. Mary’s for more than 900 years, making this church almost as historical as your special day.
A professional wedding photographer who has been working since 2012 and has photographed more than 150 couples on their big days at a multitude of venues, I am your wedding photographer Hinckley. My speciality is documentary, photojournalism-style or sometimes referred to as candid wedding photographs, which aim to capture every special moment on your big day as it happens; this is the perfect style for you if you’re usually camera-shy or would just prefer that your photographer be as unobtrusive as possible. Of course, I can still help you get all the staged and formal portraits you desire; but I’ll get them done quickly, and with a minimum of stress, so everyone can get back to enjoying your celebrations.
