I absolutely love being involved in capturing the celebrations of an Asian wedding, be it from the Bride and Grooms Mehndi events to the religious and civil ceremonies that are always incredible family occasions.
This photograph is an all-time favourite of mine I took at Baljinder and Monica's wedding that took place in London. His sister Amandeep was helping Baljinder get ready before he went to meet his stunning bride for the religious ceremony when I caught her adjusting her hair in the mirror.
The day started with me travelling from the Midlands on Baljingers coach with his family and friends to London. This gave me plenty of time to get to know everyone and break down any concerns of people being camera shy.
With so many cultures around the world, all celebrating the joining of two people in there own beautiful way its an honour to be there to photograph it for all involved.
After a beautiful ceremony, it was time to let the two families come together with their friends. To be at a wedding with 600+ people is something to behold. The ladies in their beautiful dresses and the guys in their well-pressed suits is a wonderful spectacle full of colour. The food and entertainment is always first class and the dancing celebrations are without a doubt some of my most memorable experiences from any wedding I have photographed over the years!
Each and every time I get a wedding enquiry for an Asian wedding my heart just fills up knowing how incredible they are and what an absolute honour it is to be part of!
